Garden Equipment
Tools Shed takes your broken or unwanted garden hand-tools which are then refurbished in prison workshops, providing training for prisoners and supporting them in finding occupation post-release. The repaired tools are then given to local school children and community volunteers to help create and maintain green spaces. They don’t accept electronic tools at this charity unfortunately, just small hand tools like spades, forks etc. You can find more information and a list of drop of points on their WEBSITE
Work Aid is a charity that takes all your unwanted tools from Gardening items to sewing machines, typewriters and carpentry tools. These are then refurbished by a team of volunteers at the Workaid workshop. The refurbished tools are then sent to vocational training projects where they help vulnerable and disadvantaged people learn trade skills and start their own businesses. You can find more information and a list of drop off points via their WEBSITE
